National environmental awareness campaign (NEAC)
FEDCROT conducted NEAC Programme in Madurai supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India thro’ the PEACE Trust Dindigul. Awareness programme such as competition, Tree Plantation etc., The Programme was conducted for two days continuously. Resource persons were invited to address target groups such as women, students etc., Essay competition were conducted and prizes were awarded to best essays on “Importance of Tree Plantation “ .
Ramanujam Mission Trust - Awareness Camp
We have conducted the Adult girls awareness programme at S.S.Colony, Madurai. Child Development Project officer participated the programme and giving the guidance for adult girl health and hygiene.

AWARENESS PROGRAMMES
1) Dengu Awareness Programme:
One awareness and orientation programme was conducted at our head office for the Adolescent girls and women about the awareness of HIV/AIDS, family welfare norms etc. 25 women with their spouses were attended in this programme. Health professional are conducted this awareness programme. During this programme a detailed orientation on HIV /AIDS and menstrual hygiene practices were discussed. This programme provides the knowledge about the reproductive and child health and condom usage. Hand Materials are also disbursed during this programme. They were trained on the issues of difference between HIV and AIDS, prevalence of AIDS in India and in the state, its symptoms, how to deal with AIDS patients, counseling of patients etc. The volunteers enjoyed the training and it proved to be a knowledge gathering exercise
