UCDN (Urban Community Development Network) Training

FEDCROT provides UCDN training under SJSRY scheme to various Municipalities in Tamilnadu. This is very useful to the people those who are in poverty and low income. This training is mainly focused to eradicate the poverty by giving self employment. This UCDN training assists the urban poor in organizing themselves into self managed community structures to gain collective strength to address the issues of poverty facing them and to participate in the effective implementation of urban poverty alleviation and social development programs.. After getting this training they were self employed and can meet their daily needs without any struggles. We have given various training which are mentioned below. Through this training nearly 700 Women Self help Group (WSHG) were benefitted.
1. Mosquito Coil Making and Artificial Jewel Making training for one week and Jute Bag Making & Gas Stove repair training for one week were given to Virudhunagar Municipality WSHG members. In this training nearly 100 Women SHG Members were participated. Now the people got a very good exposure and they are very satisfied with this training.

Lamination Xerox, Photo Lamination, Screen Printing and Book Printing, Jute Bags Making, Herbal Products, Bag Making, Fur Doll & Bags Making, Bakery Products, Tailoring Machine Service & Repair trainings for one week were given to Nagercoil Municipality WSHG people. Nearly 400 WSHG women were benefitted via this training. Now that people can able to do own business.
   
3. Zardosi and Aary Work Training were given to Sattur Municipality WSHG members. In this training nearly 70 WSHG members were participated. This training was very useful to them and now they started their own business from their home itself.
4. Paper cover making and Bakery Food Products training were given to 50 WSHG members of Thoothukudi Corporation. The WSHG members were eagerly participated in that training and very useful to them.
